About Me

Clarke Joss the Photographer posing for a portrait

Aw shucks, you came in...

A huge welcome, I'm Clarke Joss. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, where I grew up... or at least tried to. And still here, living and breathing the Aberdream with my amazing fiance and our beautiful daughter Ada. But not forgetting our 4 Bengal cats Django, Cosmo, Indy, and Ziggy!,

Leaving a career as a head chef to pursue my dream of becoming a photographer I haven't looked back. I pinch myself daily that I'm now one of the lucky ones who wakes up to do something I truly love. Now that I don't take it for granted.

An 80's kid, brought up on an unhealthy dose of films and games. My main loves are food, music, and animals with a splash of travel and adventure...oh and I do love a good Netflix binge. so tell me what you're watching...

Great fun with awesome people

Photography isn't about the income to me. I know it may sound cliché, but it's a passion that's given me focus (excuse the pun). It lets me get out and meet some amazing, like-minded, people.

I'm a pretty laid-back guy who likes to have a laugh but at the same time super focused on producing the best work i can

Next steps

We'd love it if you considered us! If you think our unique style is something you might welcome on your day, then, by all means, get in touch. You're welcome to drop by for an informal chat and a cuppa... Or a beer. As I've mentioned elsewhere, it's always a great idea to meet up in person, It's more important to click with people than to click with the camera and I'd love to hear about your day. I'll fill you in on everything you need to know, then you can head off and have a think with no obligations... apart from owning me a coffee ;-) So could you give me a holler?

It’s not all Weddings

Over the past few years, I've been fortunate enough to have been asked to photograph the  Nuart Festival and it was an absolute thrill to be part of it all. Meeting and capturing the progress of some of the finest street artists in the world! Such a bunch of cool cats to boot.
