Wedding photography that lets you relax...& go wild

Let's get the party started!

Genuine, authentic storytelling, creatively captured in a fun way

Not Your Normal Wedding Photographer

Hi. I’m Clarke, a creative wedding photographer in Scotland for people who hate stiff, boring wedding photos.

Super-staged wedding photography makes me sad, because when you look back all you’ll remember is how awkward you felt in that moment. As a cheeky, cheerful wedding photographer from Aberdeen, I bring out the real you by being the real me.

A groom holds his wife's hand and points at her as she laughs agains a blue wall

“He’s fun, friendly, and has an incredible eye for photos that are a little more quirky than a standard wedding photographer.”

My Vows as Your Wedding Photographer

Here are a few things I promise to do (or not to do), that will make your wedding photography feel natural, fun and memorable for all the right reasons.

01

I make your forever-after stress free.

Life isn’t scripted and love isn’t filtered. It’s big, beautiful and messy. It’d be impossible to capture your natural energy and love for each if I’m busy pushing you into awkward positions. I use prompts, not poses, to help you look and feel at ease in every photo.

“If you want a photographer you’d invite to your wedding regardless, who you can laugh with and provides the photos you dream of, I can only recommend Clarke.”

02

I blend in so you can stand out.

Whether you love the camera and the camera loves you back, or you freeze up and never know where to put your hands (often these two people marry each other), I blend into your big day so you never feel like there’s a lens in your face.

“We had Clarke for our wedding in Dunkeld and a pre-wed shoot in Aberdeen. As a bloke I wasn’t too keen, but Clarke made it so relaxed and we had a great laugh.”

03

I focus on memories, not people.

Photographing ‘people’ is for school picture day and police mug shots. I capture memories as the characters at your party make them. All the love, laughter, tears, tequila and terrible dance moves that tell the unforgettable story of your special day.

“If you want natural, candid photos that truly reflect your big day, Clarke is the guy. We had so many compliments from guests about all the fun and banter they had.”

"We couldn't of asked for a better pair to have at the wedding. Clarke and Doug did a fantastic job. It was like having your good friends along to take photos.

“We had Clarke for our wedding in Dunkeld and also our pre-wed shoot in Aberdeen – being a bloke I wasn’t too keen on the pre-wed, but Clarke made it so relaxed and we had a great laugh, and it was a good practice run for the sort of things he would be asking us to do on the big day, and the pics were fantastic!

The beginning of something extraordinary
